Losers Fic: Project Super Soldier

Title:  Project Super Soldier
Author: [livejournal.com profile] snowdarkred
Word Count:  ~1.3K
Pairings: Cougar/Jensen
Rating/Warnings: PG-13. Some disturbing content, along the lines of experimentation. Label it "Mature themes".
Author's Note: Okay, so this was interesting to write. I kept going back and forth as to how detailed it should be, but I think I hit the right tone? It's a like mutant blend of Project Super Soldier, aka the thing that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America, and Extremis, aka the thing that messed Tony Stark up even more than he already was. With a dash of Weapon X, because I just want to fit in every Marvel hero I can.

Summary: Remember that crack about being a secret government experiment? Yeah, well that was just asking for karma to cash in.

Avengers fic: i have found god and he is a mirror

Title: i have found god and he is a mirror
Author: [livejournal.com profile] snowdarkred
Pairing: Steve Rogers/Tony Stark
Universe: 161ish, Civil War doesn't happen.
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: deals strongly with depression and its effects; also, Tony gets kidnapped and it's unpleasant - non-graphically unpleasant. Second person; I know, I'm sorry.
Word Count: ~3.4K
Beta: me, myself, and I.
Author's Note: This was really hard to write. Both technically - it's second person POV, yikes - and personally, in that in deals with depression and what someone feels like during it. Some of it hit a little close to home, and while I hope that that gives it accuracy and realism, it also meant that I had to think about some of my own issues a bit. Which is...always fun. It took me a while to work up the courage to post this.

Summary: Depression hurts. Extremis doesn't help. Steve does.
