I had a pretty fracking crazy nightmare the other night. It wasn't scary in the boogy man sense, but in one of those emotional pull sort of ways. I remember waking up a few minutes after the confusion in my head subsided...because I really didn't want to deal with the dream/nightmare any more. Deja vu can be really fun, I think. I guess from my experience, I feel like I'm having some sort of out of body experience. Because I realize that I'd already seen the event in progress, and there's this whole 'whoa' vertigo sensation for a moment when past images collide with what's being currently seen, and then the mind's eye sees slightly into the future (well, remembered past...which is currently happening). Really trippy.
