Good to know, lol! <3

My first real fandom was Beyblade, which a heavily censored kids' anime. That was the first show I ever wrote fanfic for. Admittedly, it was truly heinous fic, and I came to my senses after two pages, but still. I didn't really get into fic writing until Naruto. I've only recently been expanding outside of anime fandoms (I've been in fandom for...almost eight years now. Wow, I suddenly feel old, which is ridiculous.) for the past year. NCIS was my first fandom outside of anime. Star Trek XI came soon after, as did a bunch of other stuff. Now I can list fandom after fandom where I've writen a few sentences or read a few fics in.

NCIS was probably my first non-anime show. I've seen all of seasons one through six, but I haven't seen seven yet, and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. :/ I'm not really digging the writing that I've seen so far.

The NCIS writers don't know when to use a sledge hammer vs a needle. It can be awkward at times as a viewer. :/

With Merlin, at the moment, I'm waiting for them to do the magic reveal. I know that the creators think that the tension is half of the show's dynamic, but I don't think so; I think that they're underestimating their own show. I can definitely think of ways to reveal Merlin's powers without crashing the plot or ruining the viewership. *shrug* But then, no one calls me for these things. XD :P
