I WANT WATSON TO HAVE LOTS OF KNITWEAR

[livejournal.com profile] anruiukimi  has already heard this, but....

I greatest wish is for BBC!John Watson to wear a great amount of knitwear in the upcoming S2 of Sherlock. I mean, seriously. Knitted scarves. MOAR knitted jumpers. WEE KNITTED HATS. WEE KNITTED MITTENS. SOCKS.

It's not that I have a knitwear fetish (not judging, but that thought is vaguely horrifying) or anything, it's just.... I find Martin Freeman!Watson to be painfully, painfully adorable. I mean, whenever I see him on screen, all I can think is 'OH! I just want to take him home and wrap him in blankets and bake him COOKIES and make him TEA!' And then I go into spasms about how cuddly and short and squishable and OMGOMGOMG CUTE! he is.

And I mean this all in a non-sexual way, of course; asexual here. He's just...disturbingly adorable to me. I mean, Martin Freeman is forty years old, what the hell is wrong with me?

But yeah. Him in that jumper in the first episode or that WEE STRIPED SHIRT OMGOMGOMG just about kills me every time. I JUST WANT TO HUG HIM, OKAY. DON'T DISRESPECT THE CUTIE. *flails*

....I think I have a problem?

Dude if you actually know who I'm talking about...I'm impressed.

Generally I don't have the high ground. Every once in a while I do...but generally speaking no I don't.

:D Yes, I know who Ryan Robbins is. He was in an episode of Supernatural way back when. :3 And, you know, Battlestar Galactica.

Dayam...he was in SPN...I've missed that somehow. LOL well that's obviously not why I know who he is...and I fully admit that even he will not make me watch BSG. :-) I watch him on something else.

[identity profile] snowdarkred.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
He was in Bugs, I think. One of the construction guys. You watch him on Stargate?

[identity profile] shanachie-quill.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, he was in Bugs (I went and looked it up when you mentioned SPN). I did watch him on SGA. He's on Sanctuary now which is where I'm currently watching him.

And he'll be in the pic spam I'm doing...she asked for pictures that'll get her muse going...I think Ryan'll help ;-)

I like playing Six Degrees of Supernatural. It's fun. :3

[identity profile] shanachie-quill.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Hahaha. Yes it is. I'm just amazed at Ryan's chameleon abilities. I've got recent pictures of him...taken within like a month and he looks like a completely different man.

Are you not at home? Or avoiding AIM cuz you're writing or doing HW? Oh wait...no it's Tuesday...you had your test this morning.

[identity profile] snowdarkred.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
I had my test yesterday; I think I did horribly. D: I had work this morning, came home, and then fell asleep for four hours. I am currently trying to write another girl!Jensen fic, because I haven't done it in awhile, and I don't feel like working on my bigbang at the moment. :/ I'll probably have the tenth installment of my ridic alive with the glory of love 'verse by the weekend.

[identity profile] shanachie-quill.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Aw I sorry to hear that, bebe...about the test. The new story is awesome. I was working on a Losers' Halloween, but it took a left turn somewhere so I'm taking a break to do a pic spam for a friend and try to figure out where it's going.

Yay for more girl!Jensen :-) Awesome sauce!

[identity profile] snowdarkred.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
I studied and everything! D: I dunno, I just suck at this technical stuff, which is something of a problem. :(

Good luck on the fic! Sometimes left turns are good things! <3

Yeah, I was getting ready for work this morning, fighting the urge to stress bake, and I was like, huh. Fic idea!

[identity profile] shanachie-quill.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
*huggles you* Sometimes that just happens. I've been there. It'll even out, I promise.

Thanks. I don't think I'll be working on it much more tonight...but I think I got a good 1K written today (haven't done a final count yet.) Yeah, I'm not upset about the left turn, I just need to haul it back to the prompt. I just wasn't expecting Jackie (niece) to burst into tears when Jensen took her downstairs to make breakfast. Fail on my part for not expecting an emotional 7 year old when she's just lost her mom and she wasn't sure her uncles were going to come back.

*huggles you* Yeah, stress urge to bake needs to be funneled into fic. Is Jensen attempting to bake?

[identity profile] snowdarkred.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 11:32 am (UTC)(link)
It's just, it's happen twice for the same class. Maybe this isn't for me. Ack.

:o Oh no! Why does she burst into tears?

Jensen isn't just attempting to bake, she is succeeding. Or she will, once I figure out how to finish this thing. *pokes fic*

[identity profile] shanachie-quill.livejournal.com 2010-11-03 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe the class isn't for you? Or your major? You need to talk? You know where I am, hun.

The "oh, no!" was totally my reaction when she did it. I wrote it and then I looked at it and went "um, Jackie? Really?"

You know the background for my canon for Losers? That Jensen's sister gets killed/died (yeah I really need to figure that out) and Jensen is given guardianship of her. Anyway this story takes place the first time he (and Cougar) come home after the funeral. Essentially--Jackie's still trying to adjust to Mommy being gone and then Uncle Jake and Uncle Cougar came but had to leave...and Mommy left and never came back. So she was damn sure that when they left--they weren't coming back. So the tears are a combination of "I'm 7, I miss my mommy, I'm glad you're home, I love you, my whole world is a mess." But Jensen is male and military and just doesn't exactly know what to do with a sobbing 7 year old female. Although he handled it better than I thought he would.

I can send you what I have if you'd like :-)

Awesome! Jensen baking is either totally awesome or a terrifying prospect. I think if s/he (depending on the Jensen) was completely focused--s/he would be awesome at it...but if something distracted her/him--there could be explosions.

Good luck on finishing. :-) I've been there.
