I definitely like the idea of this AU. I also find a tag that you're using to be interesting: Charles is a baby psychic. Does this mean that he does not have the breadth/strength of power that he is usually shown as possessing, or am I just leaping to unsupported conclusions? Anyways, I look forward to more.
