popping my lj cherry: an introduction

Well, this is my first post here, so I should start with the obvious. My (user)name is snowdarkred , but you can call me sdr, if ya want. I joined LJ because of the fics. The quality here is awesome.

I'm gonna make a lot of newbie mistakes because I'm 1.) new, 2.) techno-challenged, and 3.) completely alone in this endeavor. None of the friends I have daily contact with have LJs, which leaves me completely on my own trying to figure out how the hell this thing is supposed to work. So, go easy on me; it's not my fault that I fuck up with this shit. ; )

I'm from the South, and since I tend to write how I think (but not necessarily how I talk) I tend to add y'alls and drop Gs. And I say "'cause" instead of "because". I write more than is probably healthy, and my muses are radioactive and focus on the strangest things.

I'm addicted to AUs and crossovers, so there will be a lot of those here. I can't really help myself; they just happen.

Also, I swear a lot. Go figure.
