possibilities of the body

So. I went to my psychiatrist today, and he's still concerned about my fatigue. So he ordered some tests for me to get. The theory is that I have fibromyalgia, just like my mom. She started showing symptoms at 15; I'm 19, so I'm near in age. And I have the exact same symptoms as her. I just feel...tired and achey and bleh all the time, and it sucks, and I hate it.

Hm, somebody else on my f-list has that I think..

It would suck to have it. It's basically one of those things that they diagnose you with when they eliminate everything else.

Yeah sucks. Kinda like IBS, had all the blood tests/scopes and then they don't know what else so its that. -_-`

I had to look fibromyalgia up, and it sounds really sucky :/ But maybe it's a little bit positive to know why you're feeling so bad all the time, even though the reason behind it isn't the best? We have one of those hereditary symptoms in my family too (many of my female relatives on my father's side have it), and it's some sort of up- or down regulation of the thyroid gland (can't remember which one.) So I'm just waiting for it to be kicking in, and that's also one of those things that gives quite general syndromes, you know as tiredness.
