I know what I want from the Losers Minibang...now I just have to get it!

I saw what prompt I want from The Losers Minibang - I'm totes going to be gunning for the His Dark Materials fusion. Because I LOVE HDH daemon!fics, and I already know what most of the Losers' daemons would be:

Clay - wolf. Wolves are military-ish and have a chain of command. Thus, wolf.
Roque - I dunno. He's the only one that I can't see at all, not even a little. Must think further.
Aisha - snake. Because snakes are awesome and badass.
Cougar - I want him to have a Cougar, but I'm planning on thinking further. Maybe a Mexican Wolf? And I'm not saying that because the character is supposed to be Mexican, I just think Mexican wolves are really, really pretty.
Pooch - hawk. Just, yeah. Not sure one what particular type of hawk, but I think that it fits his personality for her to be airborne.
Jensne - Jensen is the hardest. I'm tempted to just go with fox. Since of humor, ability to misdirect, trickster. Also, pretty. :D But then, I'm biased towards foxes, so. I'll think about it next time I rewatch the movie.

Of course, I need to get the prompt during claiming. Which means that come August 14th, I'm going to be stalking the comm, ready to spring into action!

Also I'm thinking about names: 

Pooch's daemon - Aerialis
Clay's daemon - Fortisa
Roque's daemon - Parraicida
Aisha's daemon - Callidus
Cougar's daemon - Immotiala? Agilitia?
Jensen's daemon - Secerna? Ardea?
Jolene's daemon (which is totes something super deadly) - Moderatri


Which, basically, is just intentionally mangled Latin. Um. But of course, I'll have to get the prompt before it would be even approaching final. *crosses fingers* 

ETA: If not this, than the werewolf!AU, because there can never be enough team-is-secretly-wolfish!fics out there. XD

Welcome dearie. We both saw your post. Well I saw it because I had your page open...I was reading something else and my damn browser crashed--when it rebooted, it opened that up. I showed it to the other mod and we just decided to give it to you. :-)

I've been reading your stuff, but I'm crap on commenting since I tend to read when I'm like half-asleep. Don't be surprised if you pop up on my rec page. A couple friends of mine just watched Losers. Literally in one case because I've been non-stop babbling at her (seriously I think in Jensen lately and it apparently comes out--not that I don't babble to begin with) and I think she watched it to shut me up. Anyway tangent! She watched and now she wants fic recs.

Which I will probably do today...if I can get myself out from under my emails...
