It was probably the most fun I've had writing something in ages. Seriously. I've been meaning to do a non-superheroes AU since forever, and this was what came together. It was a blast. Title is from The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, a poem written by Bonnie Parker, one half of the (in)famous duo.
